Why ARTEMIS?
Manufacturers use conventional robotic systems to great effect in many industrial applications. As these systems are used for higher and higher accuracy applications, the conventional robotic system must be re-imagined. It needs to dynamically adapt to the changing environment, drive the accuracy beyond that capable with periodic calibration, and fuse together multiple data streams to further refine manipulator motion.

This is where ARTEMIS enters the picture. ARTEMIS takes real-time measurements and adaptively adjusts the manipulator motion at a very high frequency so that much higher accuracy applications are possible.

HammerHead Logic was responsible for developing custom software components to handle the kinematics, manipulator calibration, and real-time path correction elements of the ARTEMIS platform.
